Jessica Shattuck is the author of the novels The Women in the Castle (a New York Times Bestseller, winner of the 2017 New England Book Award for Fiction, and #1 Indie Next Pick), Last House (long listed for the 2024 Mark Twain American Voice in Literature Award), Perfect Life, and The Hazards of Good Breeding (a New York Times Notable Book and Boston Globe Editor’s Choice Book of 2003, and finalist for the Pen/ Winship Award).
